I’ve always had this sense of wonder with the world around me and a curiosity that is only satiated when I’m out exploring on an adventure. I’ve even had this world map in my childhood bedroom since I was just 13 years old and the map is still with me today! I remember this little art project, finding all the pieces to create this cork board pin map and hand painting this rustic frame. I used to get so excited to pin each new place that I’ve visited throughout the years, and still keep this tradition alive to this day. Little things like this nurture my inner child and remind me to continue incorporating little sparks that bring joy into my life. Having this sense of curiosity with the world, the vibrant cultures, the traditions, and the people we meet and share stories with has inspired the person I am today.
