This is the world map I’ve had in my childhood bedroom since I was just 13 years old and it’s still with me now! I was super crafty in my youth and I remember finding all the pieces to put together this cork board map and rustic frame. I used to (and still!) get so excited to pin each new place that I’ve visited through the years, and keep that tradition alive to this day. I’ve always had a sense of awe and wonder with the world, the vibrant cultures, the traditions, and the people we meet and share stories with.

In this section, you’ll find stories from my favorite food and culture experiences around the globe. I prefer to experience travel through the lens of a local to truly understand the culture of the country I’m visiting and hope that some of the stories here may resonate with you. Whether it’s a memorable cultural experiences or class, visit to a local market, meaningful meals, or people that I’ve met from around the world, there’s always a story to tell.
